Some of the things we do every day have a terrible impact on the environment. We all think we know how to protect the environment. But we really don’t. For example, everyone knows that burning fossil fuels causes a lot of damage to the atmosphere, but we just keep doing it. We just have to stop emitting greenhouse gases. The solution is so simple.
In 2019, Greta attended the UN Climate Action Summit in New York. She sailed across the Atlantic, spending two weeks on a zero-emission yacht. She captured the world’s attention with the passionate speech she gave there. She warned world leaders, “We will be watching you.”
